Veronika Šoltinská

My name is Veronika, and I work in PR —   specifically in NGO public relations, which certainly comes with its own quirks. I lead an amazing PR team at the Pontis Foundation, where we focus on building strong connections between people from the business world, NGOs, and the public sector.

I’m originally from eastern Slovakia but now live in Bratislava, a city I love for the sheer amount of coffee shops and cultural events. Traveling is also something I enjoy to the bits —I spent nine months living in Greater Jakarta/Indonesia, and have also spent some time in Greece, Hungary, and Canada.

Before transitioning to PR, I was a journalist for 10 years, writing for several media outlets, including Hospodárske noviny and Forbes. I’m a feminist and an advocate for raising awareness about rheumatoid arthritis.
